After spending many years working in the automotive industry and gaining experience in finance, Josh decided to utilise his diverse skillset to start NQ Finance Solutions. Since doing so, he has transformed the lives of many, and in 2017, he achieved second place in the Spring Broker Challenge as a high-performance broker Australia-wide. Josh’s favourite aspect of his job is knowing that no two days are the same and that every day poses a unique set of challenges.
When Josh isn’t dominating the finance industry, you can find him spending time with his two sons, immersing himself in the world of horse racing or riding his motorbike. He is a major sponsor of Broc Pearson, an Australian Superbike competitor, and has a long-standing passion for ice hockey, competing nationally and internationally at a young age.

NQ Finance Solutions’ newest addition to the team, Chris Laird, is a highly motivated, fun-loving individual with a passion for overcoming challenges. Originally from Sydney, Chris moved to Cairns in 2010 after embarking on a holiday and falling in love with the region’s sunny, tropical climate. After spending many years working as a successful Sales Manager in the automotive industry, Chris has decided he is ready start a new chapter and is looking forward to working alongside the team at NQ Finance Solutions in diversifying his skillset.
Chris has a keen sense of adventure and enjoys scuba diving, playing golf and wakeboarding in his spare time. He values quality time with friends and has developed a passion for travel after backpacking across Europe in 2017.
